Return Policy

As of December 2011 our return policy, shipping policy, terms and conditions have been changed. We are in the process of updating our website with the most current information for your use. The information below is still effective and our friendly furniture and linen consultants will provide you with more accurate information as requested. All of our furniture products, bedding accessories and mattresses are custom-made to order. Custom orders are non-refundable / non-cancelable and non-exchangeable since these items are made to order. It is highly recommended that if you are looking for a custom color piece of furniture, please order color swatches prior to placing your order. If you are unsure whether your item is a “custom” color, please contact us. We will help!

If an item is unavailable or out of stock, we will substitute your product with a like replacement.

In the event you cancel your item while en route or if the package is considered “undeliverable” by the freight company at destination, you will be responsible for all shipping and handling cost back to the warehouse . Your credit card will be refunded minus the shipping cost plus a 50% restocking fee once it has been inspected at the warehouse.

In the event that your product arrives damaged from the freight company, you immediately write down any and all “EXCEPTIONS” on the Delivery Receipt. Please do this prior to the carrier leaving. Our freight is insured and you have every right to file a freight claim with the carrier if they did not handle your products properly. If you see visible damage to the cartons or the product, you can choose to (1) keep the product and file a claim (ask for a claim form from the driver), or (2) refuse the product and have it sent back to the manufacturer. It is best to document any problems with a digital camera if possible. If you wish to decline a replacement, a 50% restocking fee will be assessed once the item has been received by the warehouse.

Cranium Furniture has the right to change its return policy at any time.
Legal Notice: Cranium Furniture prices subject to change without notice. All orders are subject to our approval. We are not responsible for typos or errors. The actual product may vary from the photo shown due to occasional changes in manufacturing. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic. Cranium Furniture shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. Cranium Furniture is located in Elk Grove Village, IL. By purchasing merchandise from Cranium Furniture, the customer agrees that Illinois law will apply to any dispute or claim, and any legal claim for damages and/or injunctive relief must be filed in Lake County, Illinois

We are proud of our Custom Furniture and Accessories Collections which are custom made to order specifications and want you to be perfectly satisfied with your purchase, which include sheets, comforters, bedspreads, mattress pads, pillow cases and pillow shams. Cranium Furniture, Inc. will gladly provide you a merchandise refund within the first 5 days of receipt of your order provided production has not begun. Custom items are non-returnable. Before returning merchandise, please contact Customer Service for a return authorization number, which is required for all returns or email us at sales@craniumfurniture.com. Please include your name, address, phone number, and order ID# in your correspondence, along with your reason for returning the item(s). You will be issued an RA within 48 hours. Your RA must be clearly printed on the outside of returned packages. Cranium Furniture does not refund the original cost of shipping. Any items returned without obtaining an RA will be automatically sent back to the customer at his/her expense which will be charged on payment method used at time of order placement. Sorry, we cannot accept returns or cancellations under any other extenuating circumstances. We do not offer refunds on any furniture products since they are custom colored and produced to your tastes. Any cancellations of your order must be stated in written format within 5 days of your purchase date.
